The area south of the Osterhof Stud property is almost perfectly suited for a touristic purpose through its scenic location. For this purpose, maps and plans are being prepared in order to obtain the necessary construction permits.
As the Osterhof Stud has years of experience in the area of horse breeding and through its connections to horse breeders in all of Europe and worldwide, it makes sense to focus on a riding facility with stables and lodging.
Breeding and riding sports events will be scheduled during the summer as well as winter months.
Due to the concept of the riding and event hall and the outside riding facilities (one of which is roof covered), up to 1,000 visitors can be invited for such events. These visitors support economically not only the project itself with their visit, but also the entire region.
In order to not only attract horse fans, but to also use the other advantages of the region, such as the hiking and biking routes, the golf course and the various skiing opportunities, the Sport-Park-Hotel-Allgäu is designed to the specifications of a 4-5 Star hotel.
A luxurious modern 4-5 Stars Hotel with 78 Apartments and Suites, a total of 199 beds, Riding and Event Hall with stables and outdoor riding facilities (one of which is roof covered), round pen, underground parking, two restaurants, conference rooms, hotel bar, various shops, 11 employee apartments and a luxurious relaxation and wellness area with swimming pool, sauna and massage facilities.
The energy required for heating and warm water is supplied primarily by a horse dung incineration facility, which is in abundant supply; power is supplied by a solar plant mounted on the roof of the riding hall. Any lack in supplies will be covered by liquid gas and the public power net as required. Waste water will be recycled through the use of a filter bed with a cleaning factor of 97%.
A rain collection facility with corresponding biotope guarantees the required ecological balancing measures.
The target audience consists primarily of horse sports fans, which will visit the planned riding sports events, but also others which like to combine the atmosphere of a luxurious hotel with the abundant sports and cultural options in the region.
